Daishi Kanaya

Daishi Kanaya is a Japanese video game artist and art director at Sega's Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio. He served as character production lead on Like a Dragon: Ishin! (2023) and art supervisor for Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name (2023). His portfolio at the studio includes character production and art support roles on Yakuza 0 (2015), Judgment (2018), and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth (2024), titles built using RGG Studio's proprietary Dragon Engine technology. Kanaya served as art director on the historical action-adventure game Stranger Than Heaven (2027), directed by Mikinobu Abe.
