Kenji Yano (pen name: Hitori Nojima) was co-writer of Death Stranding, and is the author of the novels Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, Metal Gear Solid Substance 1: Shadow Moses, Metal Gear Solid Substance 2: Manhattan, and Metal Gear Solid: The Phantom Pain. Born 1965 is a narrative designer and author who works closely with game director Hideo Kojima. His true identity was publicly revealed during the E3 2016 reveal trailer for Death Stranding
