Michael W. Mitchell is an American sound effects editor, sound designer, and music editor who has contributed to many of Hollywood's biggest critically acclaimed blockbusters. Based in Los Angeles, California, he has frequently collaborated with Oscar-winning Supervising Sound Editor Richard King and visionary directors such as Christopher Nolan and George Miller. Throughout his career, Mitchell has earned multiple Motion Picture Sound Editors (MPSE) Golden Reel nominations and wins for his work in sound design and sound effects editing.
