Shuyo Murata

Shuyo Murata, born December 30, 1970, is a Japanese video game writer, director, and designer. He is best known for his extensive collaboration with Hideo Kojima, particularly as a key scenario writer for the Metal Gear Solid series, including *Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater*, *Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots*, and *Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain*. Murata also contributed to the *Zone of the Enders* series and the *Death Stranding* franchise.
